DYBB - Registration Information

Winter & Spring Season Starting January 5th!

The Dublin Youth Brass Band rehearses weekly on Sundays:
4:30-6:30pm
Northwest Christian Church, Upper Arlington

The Winter/Spring Session will run from January through the beginning of April, including contest performances at the Dublin Festival of Brass and the North American Brass Band Championships. The complete season schedule is available on the registration form.

This year, we have a brand-new test piece being written specifically for us by composer Chris Hines, a new march by Jose Howard, and a special arrangement by Bob Munson of a Ugandan classic for our cultural exchange with two Ugandan Youth Brass Bands. It will be an exciting year!

We aim to be an inclusive ensemble - if you can't afford the full fee or have multiple kids in the band, feel free to use the "other" option to enter an amount that works better for you.

Recent Events: Brass & Percussion Day

This workshop is open to advanced middle school through high school students. There is no fee to participate - instead, please consider making a donation to support one (or both!) of our partner youth bands in Uganda. These programs provide food, toiletries, primary education, and music education to orphaned and home-insecure kids. Learn more below!

Your gift will provide BFC with the support we need to continue to give free music lessons for underprivileged children! Brass for Children is a music-based CBO established on the edges of Bwindi Forest in Kanungu, Western Uganda. Our mission is to help children and youths through love and joy of music in Butogota.
